The majority of Birmingham City fans are fearing the worst if they are relegated

Survival is the aim for Birmingham City this season, with the West Midlands outfit struggling in the relegation places of the Sky Bet Championship table.

Having just appointed their fifth manager in 15 months, former Swansea boss Garry Monk, the Blues will be hoping for a turn in form, which has seen them on a losing streak of six successive losses and just two wins in their last 11 games.

We are well and truly into the business end of the season now, and as things stand Birmingham are slumped in the relegation places in the worst form of the entire league, with relegation rivals Barnsley and Burton Albion having a game in-hand.

Most big sides who slip from the Championship are expected to bounce back from League One at the first attempt, but with Birmingham seemingly in dire straits, is this a realistic expectation from the former Premier League side?

We took to the Football League World Twitter page to ask Birmingham fans their views, and it seems the majority aren’t expecting a quick bounce-back with the League One title should the Blues suffer relegation.

65% of fans believe that Birmingham City cannot win the League One title next season if they are to suffer Championship relegation.

Blues fans…We want to hear from you – can you survive Championship relegation, and if not, can you bounce back at the first attempt with the League One title?
