Millwall take on Reading this weekend looking to continue their surge for a place in the top six of the Championship table.

The Lions have been very impressive ever since Gary Rowett came in as manager in October. The boss has been consistent in his selection and has made the side a tough team to beat.

This week Rowett touched on a couple of things that will have made Millwall fans intrigued about the upcoming months of the season.

Having announced the signing of Ryan Woods, the boss stated that he managed to get in Millwall's 'number one target' of the January transfer window, which in itself shows how highly Rowett rates the midfielder. Woods is available to play in the match with Reading on Saturday.

Alongside this Rowett spoke of the potential signings of Derby's Mason Bennett and current on loan keeper Bartosz Bialkowski.

The boss confirmed interest in Bennett who he'd managed during his stint as boss at Derby. He also expressed that Bialkowski could well be done if a sensible deal comes onto the table.

Alongside the transfer news that Rowett opened up on, he also suggested that there may be a position change in the future for Shane Ferguson. The boss feels that he could act as suitable cover in the central-midfield position if the Lions were to get any more injuries.

It should be a really interesting game on Saturday with both sides playing some of the best football that they've been able to for a couple of years.
