Luton Town take on Brentford in midweek aiming to bounce back from a disappointing defeat to Charlton Athletic on the weekend.

The Hatters now sit bottom of the Championship table and are six points off survival heading into the final 12 games of the season.

Manager Graeme Jones played down Luton's chances of springing a surprise on Tuesday night and has looked to injuries as a cause for concern.

He spoke about Izzy Brown's current virus that he is suffering which could see him miss the clash with the Bees, whilst Sonny Bradley is 50/50 for the game after damaging hip.

Jones insisted that his side must dust themselves down again and make sure that they are 'level headed' for the fixture against Brentford.

It's not just the manager who is in a defiant mood ahead of the fixture against a very good Brentford side. Forward Harry Cornick discussed the match and has insisted that the Hatters 'owe' them one.

Earlier in the season, Brentford beat Luton 7-0 at Griffin Park, in an embarrassing away defeat for Jones' side. Now, Luton will be aiming for revenge and a much needed three points to boost their chances of survival.

Cornick also highlighted the need for the side to improve quickly as there now isn't much time to try and get points on the board.

It's set to be a fascinating game, with Luton hoping that they can spring a surprise and defeat a Brentford side hunting promotion.
