Luton earned a much needed win in midweek as they overcame an injury-hit Charlton side to come away with three points in front of their own fans at Kenilworth Road.

The win was absolutely huge for the Hatters as the recent run of form that the side had been on was very poor. Graeme Jones' side had lost their last four before Charlton visited.

This weekend, Luton take on a strong Brentford side at Griffin Park and they'll have to be at their best to get anything from the fixture.

Here's the likely Luton starting XI that Jones will field on Saturday...

After getting back to winning ways, Jones is expected to name the same lineup that was able to overcome Lee Bowyer's Charlton side during the week.

The game this weekend will pose different threats to that one, and Brentford are there to be attacked despite sitting just outside the play-offs after a positive couple of months under Thomas Frank.

The defence is due to stay the same with Dan Potts and James Bree providing some much needed width on either side. They'll be happy with the performance the defensive line has put in over the last two fixtures, and hope that they can keep out a strong Brentford attack on Saturday.

The midfield has a lot of endeavour about it, and as well as that it has some creative quality through Izzy Brown. Jones has raved about the midfielder a lot so far this season, and his goal against Charlton proved to be so crucial in getting the three points for the Hatters.

Up top, James Collins and Harry Cornick have surprised defences with how much they can work the backline so far this season, and they'll have to do that once more if they're to net past a very good Brentford outfit.
