Charlton Athletic take on Huddersfield Town tomorrow evening at The Valley hoping to put an end to an eight game run without a win.

A 1-0 defeat against Middlesbrough last time out was Charlton's fifth defeat in six games. The last league win for the Addicks came on October 19th against Derby County.

Four places separate the sides in the league, with Charlton knowing they could risk slipping further into relegation uncertainty if they don't get the desired result.

Huddersfield are also on an indifferent run in the league, losing their last two, and not winning in their last five.

Charlton could climb up to 16th with a win against the Terriers, in the first meeting between the two sides in over three years.

The Addicks were humbled last time the pair went up against each other, as they were on a receiving end of a 5-0 thrashing.

Here is the likely team selection that Lee Bowyer will pick ahead of a must win game for Charlton tomorrow evening in SE7...

One change is likely to be made to the Charlton starting XI for tomorrow evening's clash against the West Yorkshire side.

With the lack of players available to choose from, Bowyer will most likely keep the 4-3-3 formation for Charlton, with the absence of Erhun Oztumer meaning the side will be lacking a player capable of slotting in behind the striker.

Dillon Phillips keeps his place between the posts for the Addicks. The Charlton stopper has not kept a clean sheet for over a month, and will be hoping that Tuesday evening will be the chance to make amends.

Albie Morgan is likely to replace Ben Purrington at left-back after impressing against Middlesbrough as a second-half substitute. Jason Pearce, Deji Oshilaja and Adam Matthews should keep their spots barring any last minute knocks.

In midfield, Conor Gallagher and Darren Pratley should maintain their places, with newcomer Joe Ledley also likely to keep his spot on the left side of the trio.

Youngster Alfie Doughty impressed against Middlesbrough and is likely to keep his spot on the left flank, with Jonathan Leko maintaining his spot on the right.

Macauley Bonne continues as the sole striker, with the likelihood that Lyle Taylor will come on in the second half to partner him upfront as he continues his return to full fitness.

It is a must-win game for Charlton in the circumstances. However, it is worth noting that the Addicks have not won at The Valley since mid-October.
