Norwich City have made an impressive start to the season despite a 1-0 home defeat to Stoke City at the weekend.

A Timm Klose own-goal condemned City to only their fourth defeat of the campaign, putting an end to their six-game unbeaten run.

Defeat to the Potters leaves Daniel Farke's men sitting in a respectable ninth place heading into the second international break of the campaign, after wins and three draws.

It will be mid-October when the league resumes, and thoughts to the January transfer window will soon be creeping back into the minds of football fans up and down the country.

But this break also gives Farke a chance to not only prepare his side for a tough trip to Nottingham Forest, but also allows him to reflect on what has been, on the whole, an impressive month.

With that being said, here, we take a look at a couple of lessons that Daniel Farke will have learnt about his Norwich side after twelve games.

Academy graduates Todd Cantwell, Max Aarons and Jamal Lewis have all established themselves as regulars in the Norwich team this term, the latter recently signed a new deal keeping him at Carrow Road until 2023.

This shows just how highly Farke rates the young trio at Carrow Road, and after a string of impressive performances, it's fair to say that the Norwich youth set-up is in really good hands for the future.

Jordan Rhodes has started just seven times in all competitions this season, and has netted five times in a total of fourteen appearances this term.

Pukki, meanwhile, has been Norwich's star man, netting eight times in fifteen appearances this term, as well as providing two assists since his arrival on a free transfer from Brondby in the summer.

With Rhodes the poacher and Pukki the complete forward, they could transform a magnificent partnership up top.
