Leeds United were knocked off their perch at the top of the table last time out as they only managed a draw against a tricky Brentford side.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men have been struck with an injury crisis in the last month and their form has subsequently suffered.

Prior to this, Leeds were high flying at the top and many predicted that they would ease their way to promotion.

Despite the tough period, the Whites remain one of the promotion favourites heading into matchday thirteen and with the injury issues now decreasing, they will fancy themselves to start picking up some wins again, both at home and away.

Next up for El Loco’s side is a trip to Ewood Park and Blackburn Rovers, in the lunch-time kick off on Saturday.

Bielsa will be hoping for a win, which would take his side back to the top of the Championship, until the evening at least, with Sheffield United and West Brom not playing at 3pm the same day.

Here, we look at THREE XI dilemmas that will be bugging the Argentinian coach ahead of Saturday’s trip to Blackburn…

Kemar Roofe was the best player in the Championship up until his injury, winning the official player of the month after scoring four goals in his first six games until his setback.

The striker is now back and this will delight Bielsa, who will probably drop the impressive Tyler Roberts and give Roofe at least 60 minutes of action.

Gaetano Berardi is another player who faced some time on the injury table, missing the last six Championship matches through a knee injury, after starring at centre-back in the opening weeks of the season.

Marcelo Bielsa watched on as Berardi completed an outing for the under-23’s in a draw with Burnley recently, and he will be considering reinstating him to the starting eleven. The problem is who departs the side, with Leeds looking steady at the back against Brentford.

Jack Harrison is the marmite player at Elland Road so far this season: some love him and think he should start every game, whereas other fans are not as convinced by the Manchester City loanee’s performances.

He adds pace and directness to the Leeds flank, but whether Bielsa starts him in a tricky away game is unknown.
