There have been plenty of breakthrough performances at Leeds United this season, largely thanks to the influence of Marcelo Bielsa.

The Argentinian has shown a real ability to get the best out of every player in his squad, including the likes of Mateusz Klich and Ezgjan Alioski, who did not look like they had much of a future at the club after last season.

One player who has played well for the Whites in past seasons but has still improved dramatically this season is Kemar Roofe.

The former Oxford United man showed that again on Saturday evening as Leeds drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest at Elland Road.

He added yet another goal to his season tally, taking him to six league goals in nine league games, although it was a goal showered in controversy, as he nudged the ball over the line with his arm.

But, even without the controversial goal, the 25-year-old still had a thoroughly impressive game against Aitor Karanka's side.

He won three aerial duels against Michael Dawson, Tobias Figuieredo and Danny Fox in the 90 minutes at Elland Road, further proving how much his aerial game has improved since the start of the season.

A pass success rate of 80% shows how important a player he now is, not just as a focal point, but as somebody who maybe drops deeper and helps link up play as well.

This is just the latest performance that shows the quality Roofe possesses and plenty of managers will be sweating as the 25-year-old gets back into his stride.
