Leeds United have reportedly made enquiries to sign Portsmouth winger, Jamal Lowe in the January transfer window according to Sky Sports News.

But the Whites will face a considerable amount of competition from fellow Championship sides to land the 24-year-old's signature this month.

Leeds' promotion rivals Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough and West Brom are all interested in a deal to bring Lowe to their clubs as they look to add some attacking firepower to their ranks.

Lowe has been in excellent form for Portsmouth this season, and already has ten goals to his name for Kenny Jackett's side.

His impressive run of form has been one of the main reasons as to why Pompey are currently sat top of the League One table in the New Year, and they will surely do everything they can to keep hold of their talisman.

But which Leeds players will be sweating over Lowe's potential arrival at Elland Road?

Find out here....

Harrison has made 12 starts this season but hasn't made a notable contribution for Leeds this season as they battle to win promotion back to the Premier League.

He is already coming under pressure from youngster, Jack Clarke, so if Lowe was to also arrive, then he would almost certainly be replaced in the starting XI for the remainder of the season.

Clarke has been hugely impressive in his substitute appearances for Marcelo Bielsa's side this season, but he doesn't need anymore competition for a place in the Leeds XI.

He isn't getting enough regular game time with the promotion chasing Whites and Lowe's arrival could push him further down the pecking order which could seriously affect his development at such a young age.
