It had been a superb season for Scunthorpe United down in League One until their play-off defeat to Millwall but going forward, there's plenty of hope the Iron can challenge again next season.

Unfortunately for Graham Alexander and his players, the season was very much a case of close but no cigar after their play-off semi-final loss to the Lions - and now there's genuine thought that improvements will need to be made over the summer.

And one man they really cannot afford to lose is star winger Josh Morris, who has been superb all season long.

Rated at £425,000 by Transfermarkt, the forward has been in sparkling form for the Iron this campaign, scoring 19 goals, creating 17 assists in the process.

They're superb figures that wouldn't look out of place in some of the top divisions around the world but of course, that then leads to speculation that he might be on his way over the coming weeks.

And there's one club that we think could really use a player of his quality and that's Championship outfit Ipswich Town, who have had an underwhelming campaign in the second tier.

The Tractor Boys have struggled towards the bottom of the table all season and they've really missed a player that can make things happen, especially when the rest of the squad isn't playing that well.

Morris has brought goals, creativity, a wicked set-piece and an attacking threat to the Scunthorpe team all season long and he's a player that certainly doesn't look like he'd be out of place at this level.

He's a man Mick McCarthy should certainly consider bringing in over the summer.
