West Bromwich Albion host Bristol City on Wednesday looking to looking for a fourth consecutive victory to keep themselves at the top of the Championship table heading into the weekend.

The Baggies secured their tenth league win of the campaign on Saturday, with substitute Charlie Austin scoring a late penalty for just his second goal of the season, which saw Slaven Bilic’s side recover from being pegged back in the second half to claim a third successive Championship victory to move five poits clear of third placed Preston North End.

Bilic will be able to recall Nathan Ferguson back into his squad for the visit of Bristol City, with the defender having served the last of three-game suspension against Sheffield Wednesday, after being sent off in the Baggies’ 2-2 draw against Charlton Athletic at the Hawthorns at the end of October.

West Brom will also have influential midfielders Jake Livermore and Romaine Sawyers back available after both served a one-match suspension during the Baggies’ win against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, with both Filip Krovinovic and Semi Ajayi filling in at the base of midfield.

Can you name every top West Brom goalscorer from the last 14 seasons?

Gareth Barry should once again be available to retain his place in the squad having come back into the squad for the first time since signing a deal until the end of the season against Sheffield Wednesday, having made a full recovery from a knee injury and proven his fitness to Bilic.

Bilic should also be able to call upon Kieran Gibbs to once again be part of the squad for the game against Bristol City, with the defender coming back into the squad for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend, after recovering from a broken toe suffered in training over the October international break.

Ahmed Hegazi also came into the side for his first start of the season in the Championship against Sheffield Wednesday, having recovered from an ankle injury which kept him out during the first few months of the campaign – and he should once again be available with Bilic facing the decision of whether to bring Ajayi back into the back four in his place on Wednesday.

Bilic should therefore have a strong squad to pick from for the visit of Bristol City, as he looks to guide the Baggies to another vital three points which will maintain their place at the top of the Championship table, as well as potentially open up a larger gap to the chasing pack.
