Swansea City face a difficult challenge if they want to overcome their four-game winless run over the weekend as they prepare for a demanding trip to face Championship leaders West Brom on Sunday afternoon.

Steve Cooper's side do not enter the match in promising form as they have only managed to collect one point from their three matches since the international break, but they did deliver an improved performance against Fulham last time out.

The Swansea boss has been speaking to WalesOnline ahead of his side's trip to the Midlands on Sunday, and he revealed the latest injury news concerning his players with the busy festive period soon on the horizon.

One significant injury development is that winger Aldo Kalulu is now available for selection after not featuring for the club since August, with the Basel loanee suffering an injury during just his second appearance for the club.

Therefore, Cooper now has a good range of options to pick from on his side's flanks with Nathan Dyer also returning from injury following a brief lay-off in recent weeks, but academy graduate Jordon Garrick remains sidelined until the new year.

It has also been revealed that experienced winger Wayne Routledge is still out of contention with a calf injury, with this meaning either Dyer or Kalulu could be primed for a starting spot on their respective returns to the side.

Cooper also provided a brief update on the fitness of his first-choice centre-back duo Joe Rodon and Mike van der Hoorn. The latter came through the Fulham match unscathed after picking up an injury against Huddersfield three days earlier, while Rodon remains out of action until the new year.
