Sheffield Wednesday head back to Hillsborough for the first time under Tony Pulis this weekend, with the 62-year-old going up against his former employers Stoke City.

Pulis was in the dugout last weekend for the 1-0 defeat to Preston North End, but he did manage to post his first point on the board in the week as Wednesday held Swansea City to a 1-1 draw in South Wales.

A clash with Stoke provides Wednesday with another tough test this weekend, but a positive result is important given the fact Pulis' side remain 23rd in the table and adrift of safety following Coventry City's midweek win.

As the visit of Stoke looms, we run you through the latest Sheffield Wednesday team news...

Keiren Westwood

After returning to the starting line-up on the back of Pulis' appointment, Westwood has now picked up an injury.

That muscle problem will keep him sidelined for two-weeks, Pulis has confirmed.

Joe Wildsmith replaced him from the bench on Wednesday night and looks set for a return to the side now.

Kadeem Harris

After missing three games through suspension, Harris returns to the fold this weekend for Wednesday to offer Pulis a fresh option on the wing.

Dominic Iorfa

Pulis isn't going to be able to call on the defender this week, but offered this update when speaking to the media earlier today: "Dom Iorfa is getting closer, we will see over the next seven days. I’m desperate for him to be out there, like I am with them all, but I don’t want to throw them out there and lose them for longer. You have to be very careful with so many games."

Chey Dunkley

Pulis has admitted he's desperate for Dunkley to be available, with the defender awaiting his Wednesday debut after suffering a broken leg before he signed for the club from Wigan Athletic.

However, it seems unlikely that the new Wednesday boss will rush him back.

Callum Paterson

After a spell under Garry Monk as a central striker, Paterson looks set to continue in the midfield under Pulis.

The Wednesday boss told @swfc: "Paterson has got the energy and ability to time his runs and arrive late in the box to cause problems. I think he can score goals from midfield, he has got so many strings to his bow."

Josh Windass

Windass' red card in the game against Preston has been brought up again by Pulis, who offered this update on his forward: "I was really disappointed with the sending off. We have spoken about it and dealt with.

"Hopefully fingers crossed that situation has changed. We have put rules in place for that.

"Everything you do over two weeks is difficult because you are trying to throw so many different things at the players. It’s difficult."

Jack Marriott & Aden Flint

This pair remain absent with their respective injuries, with Marriott back at Derby County following his setback.

A clear date for Flint's return has not been given.
