Derby County will be hoping to return to winning ways in the Sky Bet Championship this weekend, but they face a tough game against Millwall at Pride Park.

The Rams just missed out on promotion to the Premier League last season and made it all the way to the play-off final under Frank Lampard, but they've struggled for consistency so far this campaign under Phillip Cocu.

Derby have lost just once at home all season, but they remain without an away win in the league since their opening game of the campaign.

They're currently 16th in the Championship table - eight points outside the play-off places - and are currently without a win in their last four matches.

The Rams will be hoping to return to winning ways this weekend and extend their unbeaten home run to ten matches in the process but they face a tough game against 13th-placed Millwall.

The Lions are unbeaten in their last six matches and are starting to build some serious momentum under former Derby boss Gary Rowett - who replaced Neil Harris in charge at The Den in October.

Derby will be without a number of their key players for the clash at Pride Park, with Matt Clarke, Tom Huddlestone, Maston Bennet and Graeme Shinnie all set to miss the game through injury.

Krystian Bielik is a doubt for the game. The defensive midfielder has been struggling with a hip problem and missed the 1-1 draw against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.

Cocu is hopeful that the 21-year-old - who has made 18 Championship appearances for  Derby this season - will be fit, although he will not risk playing him unless he is at 100%.

The Verdict

Derby will be hoping to get their season back on track at the weekend, but this will be a tough game for them. Millwall are a strong, physical side and they're starting to build some serious momentum under Rowett.

It promises to be an extremely intense and competitive game at Pride Park, so it will be a big blow for the Rams if Bielik is unavailable, as he's been an important player for them this season and he really gets stuck in on the pitch.

However, if he is not 100% fit, then perhaps it would be a risk to play him in such a physical game. With Huddlestone out injured, it would likely mean 18-year-old Jason Knight continuing alongside George Evans in midfield.
