Charlton Athletic take on Hull City tonight at the Valley in search of their first win in 10 league games, with the Addicks having now gone nine without a victory under Lee Bowyer.

The Addicks will surely fancy their chances on home turf against the Tigers, with Grant McCann's side having also been inconsistent of late, winning two, losing two and drawing one of their last five league games.

It is fair to say that their chances of picking up wins in recent games have been increased by the presence of their club talisman Lyle Taylor, with the striker having returned from the knee injury which has kept him out of action since mid-September in last weekend's defeat to Middlesbrough.

The Addicks are hoping to have influential playmaker Jonny Williams back available for tonight's game, with the former Crystal Palace man being pencilled in to start on then bench.

Whilst the next expected returnee to the first team fold is long-term absentee Sam Field, with the on loan West Brom man having been out of action since late October.

Other more long-term absences from the Charlton squad include midfielders Josh Cullen and Beram Kayal, with both players being unlikely to return before the turn of the new year.

Bowyer will certainly be hoping that his side will avoid any more injuries in the coming weeks, with the Charlton boss surely viewing the January transfer window as the perfect opportunity to strengthen his squad after bringing in the experienced figure of Joe Ledley in on a free transfer late last week.
