Birmingham City head to Ashton Gate to face Bristol City on Saturday looking to put an end to a run of six consecutive games without a win.

The Blues last win came in October and their recent poor form has seen them slip down the table into 18th.

City, on the other hand, are flying under Dean Holden and sit fifth after 15 games – just one point back from the top of the Championship.

Aitor Karanka will know his side will need to be at their best to get a result against the Bs3 outfit and will be hoping to field an XI that is as strong as possible. With that in mind, we've compiled all the latest team news.

Which club did Birmingham City sell each of these 20 players to?

The big news for the Blues is that recent signing Alen Halilovic is ready to make his debut for the Midlands club after finally getting clearance from the FA.

The Croatian playmaker can count Barcelona and AC Milan among his former clubs but his career has stalled in recent years, so he is looking to kick-start things with Birmingham.

Karanka will be without another midfielder, however, as the experienced Adam Clayton is not going to be back for the trip to Ashton Gate.

It is understood he is expected back for the visit from Watford next weekend.

Josh McEachran has been building up fitness with the U23s but it seems tomorrow's game will likely come too soon for the ex-Chelsea midfielder.
