Jose Mourinho has named a strong Tottenham side for the FA Cup clash with Middlesbrough.

Among the starters for the clash are Jan Vertonghen, Ryan Sessegnon, Eric Dier, Harry Winks, Giovani Lo Celso, Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura.

On the bench he's selected the likes of Serge Aurier, Dele Alli and Son Heung-min who could all feature at some point.

But while it's a strong side certain fans have been left surprised by the decision to exclude Troy Parrott.

The young forward has been tipped for a first team opportunity with Harry Kane out injured, but once again the 17-year-old has been overlooked.

Some fans are also disgruntled by the decision to start Eriksen.

The midfielder has been widely linked with a move away this month, meaning that it's a bit of a surprise to see him in the teamsheet when Parrott is left out.

Here's what some of them said.
