Bristol City continue to go from strength-to-strength in the Sky Bet Championship, with Lee Johnson’s side now comfortably third in the division following last night’s 2-1 victory over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
Jamie Paterson’s first-half goal put the Robins in control, before Leon Clarke equalised shortly after the break.
However, John Fleck’s red-card turned the game back in Bristol’s favour, with Aden Flint popping up in the 90th minute to secure all three points for Johnson’s side, who continue to put pressure on the Championship’s top-two.
Flint was awarded Man of the Match for his contribution at Bramall Lane, with Sky Sports Statto (@SkySportsStatto) revealing some of the defender’s stats from last night.

The goal was Flint’s sixth of the season, making him the highest scoring defender in the Championship at this current time, whilst the 28-year-old’s defensive contribution against the Blades was also magnificent.
Flint made a game high 12 clearances, whilst also winning 100% of his aerial duels in last night’s victory.
Johnson’s side sit just three points behind Cardiff City, who aren’t in action until later this weekend.
Flint has been sensational for Bristol so far this season, with the defender’s contribution absolutely key to the club’s success.
The 28-year-old is a defensive rock, but his contribution at the other end of the field is astonishing, with the defender a huge goal threat.
He’s been absolutely key to Bristol’s promotion push.
