Plenty of Derby County fans have given their opinion on the futures of Graeme Shinnie and Craig Forsyth, who have found playing time hard to come by this season.
Phillip Cocu’s first season in charge at Derby has turned a very good corner of late, vastly improving in form since the turn of 2020.
Sitting just below mid-table, the Dutchman finds his side just five points off a play-off place, leaving fans eagerly anticipating football’s return after recent events caused the season to hit a standstill.
Cocu has been blessed with the form of Wayne Rooney, Duane Holmes, Max Bird and Tom Lawrence in recent months, seeing those players and others perform to a consistent level.
Two players in the Derby squad who have largely been used sparingly for one reason or another by Cocu are Shinnie and Forsyth.
Shinnie arrived at Pride Park from Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen last summer and the defender/midfielder has made just 14 league appearances.

Forysth has spent the last seven years with Derby, having joined from Bradford City in 2012 on an initial loan deal.
The left sided Scotsman has made 18 appearances this term, being played both at left back and in midfield at times.
