It's been a fairytale end to the season for Huddersfield Town and manager David Wagner, who secured their promotion to the Premier League with a nail-biting win over Reading at Wembley.

After regulation time ended at 0-0, The Terriers just about held their nerve in a penalty shootout to ensure they will be heading for the top-flight next season.

And there's one man in the Huddersfield squad who's been a real unsung hero in their squad this campaign and that's £1million-rated winger Rajiv van la Parra.

The former Wolves man, who failed to have a real impact at Molineux during his time in the Midlands, has been a driving figure behind the Terriers' promotion push.

Despite only scoring twice and assisting four times, he's been a superb player in the squad, bombing down the sidelines and getting some great delivery into the box over the course of the campaign.

The Dutchman hasn't yet had the chance to perform at the top level in England but now he's got that, he should take it with both hands.

Not many teams will know about his ability and there might be a few outfits underestimating his talent too - which will only play into Huddersfield's and his hands.

But van la Parra is a man who has shown in the second tier that he's deserving of the chance to play in the top flight and he's now got to prove it.

He'll be up against England's top brass next season and if he can make an impression, he could be one to watch throughout the whole of the campaign.
