The highs and lows at Norwich City in 2017/18

Here at Football League World we’ve been reviewing each Championship club’s season and, now, it’s the turn of Norwich City.

The men from Carrow Road, overall, had a below par season.

Many were intrigued to see what Daniel Farke could do in his first year at the club and, though there was some good signs and bright performances, there is clearly work to be done.

The German will be aiming to shake things up in Norfolk whilst keeping the positive bits from the campaign intact, then, but whilst we wait to see how he gets on, here’s our lowdown on the best moments of the year:

The Canaries have got some brilliant individual players, that is for sure.

James Maddison rightly takes a couple of the awards for simply being one of the best in the league, let alone at the club.

Meanwhile, we give Angus Gunn the Signing of the Year for a campaign where he excelled in between the sticks on loan from Man City.

Our Goal of the Year, meanwhile, falls to Josh Murphy. He whipped a fine effort into the top corner against Aston Villa that, truthfully, two goalkeepers would not have got to.

Finally, our Quote of the Year, comes from Farke. During the snow chaos earlier in 2018, he clearly wasn’t impressed with how Britain came to a standstill as, above all, he couldn’t watch football on his broken TV.
