Swansea City have had a weird decade that has seen them go from one of the most exciting teams in the Premier League to a team that looks mid-table standard in the Championship.

At the top of the decade, the Swans played some lovely football under Brendan Rodgers and Michael Laudrup.

The latter, schooled at Barcelona under Johan Cruyff, brought a style of play that got fans on their feet at the Liberty Stadium.

This meant that Swansea attracted a fair share of overseas talent.

With that, some players have played at the Liberty Stadium for the Welsh giants that may simply be forgotten, for one reason or another.

Here, we look at the top three of those.

Do you agree, or can you remember someone else that we’ve missed? Let us know in the comments below.

Before becoming a goalscorer at Nottingham Forest and then Norwich, Nelson Oliveira played for Swansea.

The Portuguese forward made 10 appearances and scored 1 goal in a truly forgetful loan from Benfica.

When he arrived at Liverpool, David N’Gog was supposed to be one of the next big things, but it didn’t work out.

Since then, he has had a few weird spells, one of the more forgetful ones was Swansea, where he failed to score any goals.

N’Gog had a spell at Ross County and he is now at Budapest Honved.

Ryan Harley's first 'big move' was to Swansea from Exeter, and many thought he would become a good member of the first team.

Harley was loaned back to Exeter, and would not make a single appearance for the Swans.
