Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has given the green light to Elland Road outcast Laurens De Bock to find a new club, ahead of a summer move away from the Yorkshire club, according to Football Insider.

De Bock has a torrid time since his arrival at Elland Road in January 2018 with only seven appearances at the club before going out on a season long loan to K.V. Oostende last summer.

So is it any surprise that Bielsa wants to axe De Bock?

We discuss..........

Sam Rourke

"What a shocking signing.

"De Bock has flopped massively since arriving at the Yorkshire outfit and it's clear his future lies away from Elland Road.

"It's not a surprise in the slightest to see Bielsa make this decision."

Alfie Burns

“No – the guy was useless last season and gave nothing to suggest he’d be a success at Leeds.

“Leeds have loads of talent in the full-back positions and De Bock isn’t up to standard.

“The sooner he’s out permanently, the better.”

Jay Taylor

“Not in the slightest.

“For whatever reason, it is a move that has not worked out.

“Time has come for both parties to call it quits and cut their losses.

“Had he been in Bielsa’s plans from the start, he would not have left on loan.”
