There will be many arguments as to who the greatest manager of all time is, but one name will definitely be top of the list for Nottingham Forest supporters.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Brian Clough has been the most successful and most popular managers the club has seen in charge in their history.

He had a number of successful years at the club and won numerous trophies to establish himself as one of the greatest managers the English game has seen.

He won the First Division, as well as two European Cups in his time with Forest.

Clough passed away in 2004, but Forest were keen to acknowledge Clough's birthday, with the club celebrating, what would have been his 84th birthday.

The City Ground faithful will be hoping that their side can return to the Premier League this season, after a lengthy spell out of the top flight.

Forest supporters had plenty of touching words to voice about their former boss on his birthday.
