There's a tough campaign ahead in the Championship for the likes of Hull City, who's squad has taken a huge hit after their relegation from the Premier League.

A whole host of stars were sold this summer after the Tigers' relegation back to the Championship and it's clear that Slutsky's team is lacking a little squad depth.

But after a fighting performance against Aston Villa this weekend, there should be some sense of optimism in the Hull camp and there's certainly a handful of players that could lead Hull up the table if they reach their true potential.

And one man that caught our eye during the 1-1 draw at Villa Park was Chelsea loanee Ola Aina, who, despite starting shakily, turned in a decent performance on his Championship debut.

He made five appearances for Chelsea last season and dropping down to the Championship was never going to be easy for a 20-year-old with little first-team experience.

Villa are going to be one of the better teams in the division this season and he was up against some really talented players throughout the afternoon. And after taking a while to adapt to the pace of the game, Aina settled nicely and swiftly improved as his team took a foothold in the game.

He should prove a handy addition to Slutsky's squad as they look to make a slightly surprising return to the Premier League and it's players like Aina who are going to be seriously important over the course of the coming months.

He didn't get forward quite as much as expected against Villa but there's thought amongst Tigers fans that with match-time, the England U20 international will soon settle and become a key player in the team.

Keep an eye on this young man, he's got serious potential.

Hull fans- do you have high hopes that Aina can be a key player this season? Leave your thoughts down below!
