Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has reportedly announced - as per Expressen in Sweden, that he wants talks this summer with Leeds United about their plans next season.

Jansson, a £3.5m capture from Italian side Torino, has made 36 appearances in an average season for Leeds and he made the comments whilst speaking about attending the upcoming Swedish cup final between his old side Malmo and Djurgarden.

He's currently away on international duty with Sweden as they look to prepare for this summers World Cup in Russia. whilst over there he's spoken to Swedish media, which is where the comments have been reported.

Jansson hasn't been terrible for Leeds, but as they've plummeted down the table the whole team have come under fire from long-suffering fans. Chairman Andrea Radrizzani has also had his say, claiming the club have been let down by some of the playing staff.

Leeds fans, never ones to mince their words, have taken to Twitter to give their verdict on the defenders comments.
