Brentford make the long trip up North to Yorkshire this weekend, as they face Hull City at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Bees remain in 5th place in the Championship, but took an unwanted blow on Tuesday night, losing 1-0 to play-off rivals Nottingham Forest at Griffin Park.

Thomas Frank will want his side to bounce back in the best possible fashion, against a Hull side that have lost their last three league games in succession.

A loss for the West London side on Saturday afternoon could see them drop out of the play-off places altogether depending on results elsewhere. Just three points separate Brentford in 5th down to Millwall in 9th.

Going into the clash, the Bees have won just once in their last seven meetings against the Tigers. The sides played out a 1-1 draw at Griffin Park in August.

Ahead of the big game, here is the likely XI Thomas Frank will select for the game on Humberside...

Minimal changes are expected for this upcoming clash, with an unchanged Brentford team in the usual 4-3-3 formation the most likely scenario.

QUIZ: Do you know where these 15 ex-Brentford players are playing now?

David Raya Martin should continue in goal for Brentford this Saturday, and the Spaniard will be looking to keep his second successive away clean sheet after his shut out against Huddersfield on January 18th last tine the Bees made a trip to Yorkshire.

With Pontus Jansson still likely to be sidelined for Brentford, the defence will also remain unchanged for the Bees. Julian Jeanvier should start alongside Ethan Pinnock for the third league match in succession. Rico Henry and Henrik Dalsgaard continue in the wing-back positions.

The midfield three sees Josh Dasilva lineup alongside Christian Norgaard and Mathias Jensen once again, and the trio will all be hoping to make a better impact against Hull City than they managed in the Nottingham Forest game.

The front three of Said Benrahma, Bryan Mbeumo and Ollie Watkins complete the lineup. Brentford newbies Tarique Fosu and Shandon Baptiste are also both likely to make the bench and will be in line to make their Bees debut this weekend.
