Charlton Athletic will be looking to bring their long and frustrating winless run to and end this evening as the Addicks take on fellow mid-table dwellers Hull City at the Valley.

Lee Bowyer will have been left frustrated earlier this week as he saw his side lose 1-0 at home to Huddersfield Town, with the away side snatching all three points thanks to Matty Daly's late winner.

That result has seen the club lose four of their last five league games, thus seeing them slip further and further down the league table.

They take on a Hull City side who have also been incositent of late, picking up two wins, two losses and one draw in their last five Championship outings.

Therefore the clash should give the Addicks the perfect opportunity to pick up a much needed three points on home turf.

Here, we take a look at the expected Charlton eleven that Bowyer is likely to pick for tonight's game....

We expect Charlton to stick with the same 3-4-3 formation that they deployed against Huddersfield earlier this week, meaning that Dillon Phillips is likely to keep his place between the sticks.

In defence, Bowyer is likely to select Naby Sarr and Tom Lockyer as the left and right centre backs, meaning that Jason Pearce will once again marshall proceedings from the middle of the three.

In midfield, Ben Purrington and Chris Solly are once again expected to line up as the wing-backs meaning that Conor Gallagher and Darren Pratley will be tasked with nullifying Hull's threat from central areas.

This leaves the expected front three which is likely to include the versatile Alfie Doughty and strikers Macauley Bonne and Jonathan Leko, with both forwards seeking to hit the goal trail once more after firing a few blanks of late.
