Cardiff City take on Birmingham City this weekend as they aim to maintain their surge up at the top of the league table.

The Bluebirds have had a great campaign this season and aren't far away from Wolves despite the amount of money the Midlands side has spent this season.

For sure, then, the Welsh side will be feeling as though they can upset the odds and win the league but they'll have to remain pretty much perfect starting with Birmingham this weekend.

And, with a large number of injuries, it is not going to prove easy with Neil Warnock giving his latest press conference earlier today.

With that said, here is the likely XI to take to the field this weekend for City...

Neil Etheridge should continue in goal.

Matthew Connolly will likely remain at right-back.

Bruno Manga will look for another clean sheet here.

Sol Bamba should play with Sean Morrison lacking fitness.

Joe Bennett should keep his place after the Barnsley game.

Loic Damour could play with Callum Paterson a doubt.

Marko Grujic should keep his spot after scoring in the week.

Joe Ralls is another injury problem so Craig Bryson may get another start.

Junior Hoilett could be the key man in this one.

Kenneth Zohore should also feature going forwards.

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing featured as a sub in the week and may start.
