Stoke City have already made some big moves in the transfer window, with Nigeria international Oghenekaro Etebo and striker Benik Afobe both arriving in big-money deals.

As well as that, they have received a major boost with the news that Joe Allen has signed a new deal with the Potters as Gary Rowett looks to build a strong squad capable of promotion.

However, further additions will be needed ahead of the new season and one man that would be a smart signing would be Brentford's Sergi Canos.

As our graphic shows, he didn't have the best of seasons last time out, with injury playing a part but he still offers a clear threat.

The wide man has blistering pace and that's something that Stoke lack out wide, whilst his flair and unpredictability on the ball will be much-needed once Xherdan Shaqiri departs.

His direct style is evident with his 1.5 dribbles per game and that would increase when he plays full games instead of the substitute appearances he was sometimes restricted to.

At 21-years old, the Spaniard has a lot of time to improve as a player and could develop into a star man in the Championship.

With the Bees having shown over the years that they are open to selling their better players, Rowett should look to make a move for the former Liverpool man as he really would provide them with a different, and useful, attacking option in what looks like an exciting Stoke team.
