It was a season of misfortune for Nottingham Forest during the 2015/16 campaign with very little to cheer about for the Reds contingent.
The Sky Bet Championship outfit will have a new manager in place for the start of the next campaign and the club will hope to challenge higher up the table, particularly now that the club has emerged from the transfer embargo which they were placed under last season.
Forest’s ability to challenge will depend largely on the identity of the new manager and also whether he can attract the three or four quality additions that Forest need in order to become a force in the second tier.
The current crop of talent at Nottingham Forest is pretty good although the club is unlikely to go anywhere fast if they do not make the right additions to the squad this summer.
One area in which the club could strengthen is in the middle of the park, where the Reds have sometimes been found wanting in previous seasons.
