Norwich had a disappointing Premier League season under Alex Neil, being relegated with a few weeks to spare.

The fans will blame a lack of financing from the hierarchy at the club, who didn't spend much and when she did it was on unproven player.

Tim Klose has been a good purchase at the back but Norwich have struggled badly up front.

Mbokani top scored with seven which tells the story for Norwich, not enough quality or depth in the striking department with Cameron Jerome scoring just the four goals.

Loanee signing Patrick Bamford wasn't used very well either, who was brought in after failing at Crystal Palace but ended up not scoring a single goal.

The one bright spark was young English midfielder Nathan Redmond who impressed with six goals and numerous assists, impressing people with his pace and technical ability.

Hoolahan, Brady and Howson helped out but it wasn't enough for Norwich who didn't have enough depth. But if they keep hold of all there players they will be a threat in the Championship next season with one of the best squads.

Alex Neil has done a good job at Carrow Road since arriving two seasons ago, taking Norwich from mid-table in the Championship to the play-off final where they defeated Middlesbrough.

They didn't have enough depth or quality to stay up, so here are THREE strikers they should get to lead the line next season in the Sky Bet Championship.......

Patrick Bamford

Patrick BamfordPatrick Bamford

After initially failing this season in the Premier League with Norwich, he may be comfortable with dropping back into the Championship after scoring 19 goals for Middlesbrough a couple of seasons ago.

He won Championship Player of the Year but failed to earn promotion after losing to Norwich in the play-off final.

He had a lot of interested suitors but ultimately he failed to impress at Premier League Crystal Palace and Norwich and may need a step down to the Championship.

He has a clinical streak in this league with Derby and Middlesbrough, and he could write the wrongs of his time at Norwich by helping fire them back to the Premier League.

Ross McCormack

The Fulham striker has been outstanding for them and his partnership with Moussa Dembele kept them in the Championship this season.

He could be the marquee signing Norwich need though to fire them to the Premier League, as their striking options lack depth.

McCormack has been pushing for a move for a while, as Fulham don't seem to be going anywhere due to there ailing defence, and move to a side capable of promotion would surely interest the Scot.

Sam Winnall

The Barnsley man enjoyed a resurgence this season with the League One club, and his form helped propel the Tykes into the play-off positions.

A few days ago they won promotion with a 3-1 triumph over Millwall ,and Winnall in all scored over 20 goals and was one of the best players in the league this season.

Still just 25, he was the third highest scorer in League One last season but shouldn't cost too much for Norwich, who need to get in for him as a lot of Championship sides will surely be interested.
