Fulham are hoping to push up the table next season after finishing in 20th place in the Championship last time out.

The season was perhaps best summarised by their scoring record - scored 66 (beaten only by the five of the top six and Brentford), conceded 79 (only Bolton and Charlton have worse records).

Led by Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele, they have looked exciting going forward but the main area that boss Slavisa Jokanovic will have to address is the defence.

However, there is plenty of interest in both of their star strikers, and whilst it is unlikely that the club will let both go, it is equally as skeptical that the club will have both of their services available when the window closes in September.

If that happens, a new forward player will surely be a must, as Matt Smith is the only other recognised striker on the club's books.

In this article, I will take the front three to mean two strikers and a central player behind them.

Here, in the opinion of FLW's Ryan Evans, is the DREAM front three for Fulham next season.......

CAM: Tom Cairney

The 25-year-old signed from Blackburn in the summer of 2015, and his debut season has been fairly impressive.

After being played in his favourite position behind the central strikers, he went on a great run in February in an up-turn of form that steered the club away from the drop zone, and linked play well without reward for the rest of the season.

The anomaly will be the final day of the season, and the outstanding performance he put in against Bolton. His eight goals and six assists make him one of the clubs top scorers, and could well increase his importance next term.

There won't be too many in the 2016-17 Championship that can pick a pass better, and if Fulham do rise up the table, Cairney may well be the one to watch.

ST: Ross McCormack

Fulham's premier aim this summer will be to keep hold of the Scot, who is on fire with 21 goals and nine assists making him the division's second highest scorer.

With plenty of interest, just how realistic that aim is is yet to be determined, but it is crucial they hang on to one of him or Dembele.

The Frenchman has interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham, but a deal with either might see a loan back to West London.

His shooting accuracy is one of the best in the league, and when you see him in and around the area, you expect the ball to end up in the back of the net.

ST: Nahki Wells

wellsssss

Huddersfield's star man was one of the best young players in the country when he signed from Bradford in 2014, but has failed to bring Huddersfield up the table, with the Terriers finishing 19th place last season.

If Wells feels that Fulham represent a better chance of success, he may be tempted to join them; his ability to score and his all-round game is brilliant to watch.

The Bermuda international will be a great signing for Jokanovic, and a front three of Cairney, McCormack and Wells would represent one of the best in the division.

Fulham fans, what do you think? Would this be your dream front three? Would you like to bring in Wells, or is there someone else you think would do a better job? Let us know your opinion below!
