Barnsley will be playing back in the second tier again after their 3-1 play-off final win over Millwall.

The Tykes went from bottom in November to just make the top six on goal difference in May, before a 6-1 aggregate win over Walsall, who would have felt hard done by to not go up automatically, and the win over the Lions meant that they had made it back to the Championship at the second time of asking.

Three defeats since Christmas has seen them make up that deficit, and, due to their story, many are drawing comparisons to what Leicester have done in the last few seasons - coming from bottom to winning the league in 18 months.

It will be tough for them in the second tier, but they will be confident of competing with the sides they find themselves up against.

Here, in the opinion of FLW's Ryan Evans, is Barnsley's DREAM front three next season:

RW: Lloyd Isgrove

Isgrove has joined the Owls on loan
If the club re-signs Isgrove, they could probably say that they've had a decent transfer window. Despite only contributing one goal to his club, coming in the play-off final no less, the winger on-loan from Southampton has impressed a lot of people in his time at Oakwell.

His best performance perhaps was in the play-off semi-final first leg, where he could reasonably have had a hat-trick, and gave Saddlers' right-back Jason Demetriou the run-around.

It is unknown where the 23-year old will be playing next season, with some thinking he will be given a chance at the Saints, whilst many think the best thing in his career is another loan to South Yorkshire.

ST: Sam Winnall

There was some great strikers throughout League One last season; Will Grigg (Wigan), Nicky Ajose (Swindon) and Winnall all scored in excess of 23 goals, meaning an aggregate tally of 72 goals between them, or more goals than the entire Walsall team.

And his lethality was showcased in the play-off semi-final first leg against the Saddlers, scoring twice and forcing the own goal that put Heckingbottom's side ahead.

Winnall will (more than likely) be in this Barnsley side as they look to conquer the Championship again, and natural goalscorers such as the 25-year old from Wolverhampton often still manage to score on their trek up the English pyramid.

The 2013-14 season in which he scored 23 times to help his then-side Scunthorpe gain promotion from League Two alerted the Tykes to his presence, snapping him up at the end of that campaign for an undisclosed fee.

LW: Adam Hammill

Lauded by just about everyone following his stunning performance in the League One play-off final, Hammill has the ability to take the Championship by storm next season.

His magnificent strike in the play-off final meant he completed the double of scoring in both the play-off final at Wembley, as well as the Football League Trophy final. He left Oakwell in 2011 after a successful two year spell at the club, moving on to Wolves, where things weren't quite so good.

After loan spells with Middlesbrough and Huddersfield, he joined the Terriers permanently in 2013, and had a loan spell at Rotherham in the last calendar year.

With someone of his quality, the club may find it hard to keep other manager's eyes off of him, but how crucial it will be that they manage it, with potentially their survival depending on it.
