Bolton Wanderers have announced that have re-signed midfielder Will Buckley on a deal until the end of the season.

Buckley originally joined Bolton from Sunderland in the summer of 2017, and went onto make 60 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring six times, before his contract with Wanderers expired at the end of last season following the Trotters relegation to League One.

The midfielder then re-signed with the club on a short term deal last summer, making a further five appearances in the first-half of this season, before leaving the club at the end of that deal earlier this month.

Now however, it appears as though Bolton have had a re-think, with the League One strugglers now confirming that Buckley will remain with the club until the summer at least.

Taking to Twitter to react to this update on Buckley, plenty of Bolton fans appeared unimpressed by the midfielder's return, with a number seemingly far from convinced with the 30-year-old's past performance for the club.

Here, we take a look at what some of those fans had to say.
