It's been a rocky start to the Championship campaign for Queens Park Rangers to say the least.

Steve McClaren's men started the campaign in dismal fashion, losing their opening four league games and conceding thirteen goals in the process in what was a turbulent time at Loftus Road.

The R's then went on an unbeaten run of four league games, with convincing wins against Wigan, Bolton and Millwall, before then losing another two games against Norwich and Swansea.

The West London side will now look to go on a winning run after their 1-0 victory away at Reading on Tuesday night, but expectations are low at Loftus Road after an inconsistent start to the campaign.

McClaren's men need to get their act together if they are to avoid any fears of relegation this season, but here, we have a look at two disadvantages that the R's have in the fight against relegation.

Eze has been sensational for Rangers this season, and his string of impressive performances have alerted the likes of Premier League clubs Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace and Chelsea just to name a few.

The 20-year-old is the club's top scorer, and has scored three times and produced a couple of assists this season.

Should he depart Loftus Road for the Premier League in January, they may face the consequences of losing their talisman.

The R's have scored just eight goals in the league this season from their opening eleven league games, and they haven't really got a goalscorer in their ranks to spearhead them up the league table.

Eze leads the way with three goals, and then Luke Freeman, Toni Leistner, Massimo Luongo, Joel Lynch and Tomer Hemed follow behind with one goal each to their names.

The latter may put in a lot of hard work up top, but the goals just haven't come for the Brighton loanee, and if they don't find a goalscorer soon, they could drop down the table.
