According to the Hull Daily Mail, Max Clark is another bright young player who could be leaving the Tigers in the summer window.

Hull have got a good record of bringing through youth into the first team and Clark is one of the latest with him enjoying a decent campaign at the KCOM Stadium.

However, his contract is up at the end of the season and it looks as though both Nottingham Forest and Millwall are looking at bringing him in for 2018/19.

All three clubs would like to think that they've got a chance at the play-offs next season with the right recruitment so the scrap between the Reds and the Lions could be fierce.

If Forest end up missing out, then, we've been thinking about three players that could prove ideal alternatives...

Potts would perhaps present the biggest risk of our three selected but he is in here on merit.

Luton have been superb in their rise to winning promotion to League One this season and Potts has been a key figure in making sure that has happened.

His solid displays at full-back have seen him recognised as the best in the fourth tier and there's a good case to suggest he could more than make the step up to the Championship.

Joe Bryan is a player that Bristol City will want to keep but every player has their price in the Championship.

Forest will be looking to underline their ambitions with some big signings in the summer and this would prove one of them.

He's got a great left-foot and is always committed so if a decent fee can be agreed it'd be an eye-catching deal.

Karanka loves a freebie, though, so perhaps he'd consider a move for Jack Robinson.

The left-back is out of contract in the summer after his deal with QPR expires and he'll be looking for new employment.

He's good enough to stay in the Championship for sure and under Karanka he might be given a new lease of life like so many already have at the City Ground.
