Swansea City were fairly busy during the January transfer window as Steve Cooper brought three players in to improve the senior squad at The Liberty Stadium.

Striker Rhian Brewster was the first addition as he arrived from Liverpool on loan before centre-back Marc Guehi arrived on loan from Chelsea for the rest of the season.

Conor Gallagher was the final player through the door as he joined the club on loan from Chelsea after his loan spell with Charlton Athletic was cancelled.

Here is our six-point opinion on how the new signings have done since arriving at The Liberty Stadium...

How have the new signings at Swansea done?

"I think all of the signings at Swansea have been moderately successful so far in their own way.

"They have all brought a different dimension to the team and they have all been able to slot into the style that Cooper prefers to play.

"They have all settled into the group that was already there previously at The Liberty Stadium and they seem to be enjoying things in south Wales."

What impact have they all had individually?

"Brewster has so far led the line well whether it be in the 4-3-3 or the 4-2-3-1 and his three goals in seven games are testament to how hard he works off the ball.

"Guehi has brought a calmness to the defence when on the ball and his physical presence is enough to put off opposition attackers when Swansea are forced to defend.

"Gallagher has brought energy to the attack with his all-action displays as he closes down the opposition but also looks to create opportunities for those around him at the same time."

Does Swansea's system suit the new boys?

"I believe that it does.

"Brewster, Guehi and Gallagher all prefer to play the ball on the ball and all have had good upbringings with clubs that share the same philosophy.

"Brewster would have learnt from Jurgen Klopp just how it is best to play the role up front with his feet like Roberto Firmino does.

"Guehi and Gallagher will have learnt just how important it is to keep the ball on the floor and pass it around in their formative years at Chelsea."

Did they made the right choices in heading to Swansea?

"Definitely.

"Cooper has a history of developing youngsters during his time as England under-17s boss and he will be aiming to replicate that while in charge at Swansea.

"The fans have taken to the new players well and have welcomed them with open arms in the last month."

Could they be the difference between play-offs or not?

"They will most certainly have a part to play when it comes to pushing Swansea on towards the top six spots in the league.

"Brewster's goals could be crucial in the chase for the play-offs while Guehi will be just as important at the other end of the pitch.

"Gallagher will be called upon to create as often as possible in the attacking midfield role and he will be looking to have a definite impact sooner rather than later."

Are they now the main men, though?

"I don't think they are, necessarily.

"They may have put in some good individual performances but haven't been the driving force between Swansea's form.

"They have been steady and consistent without many mistakes in their game as they all look to get some senior experience under their belts across the next few months."

"Looking back at it now, the business done has been good by Swansea."
