Cardiff City will be determined to avenge the defeat that they suffered at the hands of Swansea City earlier this season when they take on their arch-rivals in the Championship this weekend.

The Bluebirds produced an incredibly underwhelming display against the Jacks in October as goals from Jamie Paterson, Joel Piroe and Jake Bidwell secured all three points for their opponents.

Since opting to hand over the reins to Steve Morison, Cardiff have managed to deliver some impressive performances in the Championship.

Currently on a four-game unbeaten run at this level, the Bluebirds will be confident in their ability to secure a positive result on Saturday.

Having witnessed his side's recent victory over Stoke City, it will be interesting to see whether Morison opts to make any changes to his team for their showdown with Swansea.

Here, we have decided to take a look at two big decisions that Morison is facing ahead of this fixture...

Should Uche Ikpeazu start up-front?

Since joining Cardiff on a temporary basis in the January transfer window, Uche Ikpeazu has managed to demonstrate some real signs of promise in the Championship.

The forward scored the winning goal in the club's clashes with Barnsley and Derby County whilst he also netted in the Bluebirds' 4-0 victory over Peterborough United.

Deployed exclusively as a substitute by Morison, it may finally be time for Ikpeazu to start a league game for Cardiff this weekend.

By delivering an eye-catching performance alongside Jordan Hugill, the forward could potentially retain his place in the side for the remainder of the campaign.

Will Rubin Colwill be handed the opportunity to impress in this fixture?

A product of Cardiff's academy, Rubin Colwill clearly possesses an abundance of talent as he has already delivered some impressive performances for the club at this level.

The 19-year-old has provided six direct goal contributions in 26 Championship appearances and scored in the Bluebirds' FA Cup defeat to Liverpool earlier this year.

Despite the fact that Colwill seemingly has a bright future ahead of him, he was forced to watch on from the substitutes bench for Cardiff's win over Stoke.

Having marked his fourth senior appearance for Wales with a goal in their draw with the Czech Republic earlier this week, it wouldn't be at all surprising if Colwill is handed an opportunity to showcase his ability on Saturday by Morison.

Whereas Tommy Doyle is expected to keep his place in central-midfield, Colwill may be drafted in as a replacement for Ryan Wintle or Joe Ralls.
