Yorkshire is the biggest county in England, with some top quality players plying their trades across 11 different clubs in the Football League.

There are six clubs in the Championship, while League One boasts four, with York City making up the 11 in League Two.

It would be easy to make a case for a team full of Middlesbrough, Hull, or Sheffield Wednesday players in this article, but that would be taking away from the point of trying to make a best combined 11.

With Boro looking likely to be promoted, and the Owls and Hull likely to make the play-offs, you could even have a combined team of these 3 clubs.

However, looking at it with all the clubs involved, each club probably has at least one player who deserves a mention.
