The 33-year-old Scotland international had a disappointing spell between the posts for Hull City last season, with a dip in form seeing the former Rangers shot-stopper dropped to the bench for the majority of the season, and the Tigers eventually relegated from the Premier League.

McGregor has recaptured his form in recent weeks, only conceding eight goals this campaign and keeping four clean sheets in his last five games.

LB - Ben Mee

Burnley's 26-year-old left-back has had a fine season so far for the Clarets.

The former Manchester City youth academy graduate has been a defensive rock on the left side of Burnley's defence, and has also managed to chip in with a goal and an assist so far this campaign, and playing a big part in his side currently sitting third in the Championship.

CB - Michael Dawson

The second Hull City player to make the in-form eleven, former England international Dawson has been in sensational form for the Tigers this season.

A leader on and off the pitch, the 31-year-old has kept Hull's defence well organised and given his side a solid base from which to attack, and it comes as no surprise that with a defender of Dawson's experience and ability, that Hull City are challenging for promotion.

CB - Daniel Ayala

The 24-year-old Middlesbrough defender has been a key player in Aitor Karanka's side this season with a string of solid defensive performances, whilst also chipping in with two goals.

The former Liverpool defender will be hoping his side's form continues as Boro continue to push for automatic promotion, and the Spaniard will play a major role in whether the Riverside is a Premier League ground again next season.

RB - Sam Hutchinson

26-year-old Sam Hutchinson has been a key player in Sheffield Wednesday's play-off push.

The Owl's have performed well in the Championship this season, a point below the play-off places, thanks largely to a string of solid defensive displays from Hutchinson.

LM - Alan Judge

Alan Judge has played a major role in Brentford's rejuvenation following their poor start to the season.

Brighton and Hove Albion remain the only unbeaten side in the Championship so far this campaign, and although Chris Hughton's side no longer sit at the top of the table, the Seagulls are still promotion contenders, especially with a player of Stephens' quality in the centre of midfield.

The 25-year-old has chipped in with three goals and two assists so far this campaign, and regularly pulls the strings in midfield, helping Brighton to their impressive start to the season.

CM - Oliver Norwood

Northern Ireland international, Norwood, has been in fine form for Reading this season.

Chipping in with two goals and one assist from midfield, the 24-year-old continues to be a key player for Reading in the push for the play-offs.

Hull City winger Ahmed Elmohamady played a key role in the Tigers' promotion to the Premier League in the 2012/13 season, and has continued his Championship form so far this campaign.

The Egypt international has found the net twice for Hull City this season, and the pacey winger is a constant threat to most left backs, creating two goals, as the 28-year-old looks to help his side back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

ST - Nick Blackman

Nick Blackman has been in sensational form for Reading this season, finding the net nine times in fifteen league appearances, whilst chipping in with two assists.

The Royals have high hopes of promotion this season, and Blackman could well be the player that fires Reading back to the Premier League.

ST - Andre Gray

Burnley's record signing has hit the ground running, and is already proving to be worth the money that Sean Dyche paid for the 24-year-old.

Gray has found the net eight times in his ten appearances for the Claret's this season, and also created two goals for his teammates.

Burnley currently sit third in the Championship, largely thanks to the goals from the in-form Gray.
