Now that Hull City are almost safe, they can nearly start thinking ahead to next season and how to improve.

It has been a disappointing season but one player in particular has been a revelation.

Jarrod Bowen was handed a first team opportunity on the opening day of the season and he grasped it, scoring in a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa.

Since then, he has not looked back, cementing himself as one of the stars in this current Hull side and attracting interest from the top flight.

But would he be a good signing for Stoke City this summer?

FLW shines a spotlight on Bowen's season so far and assesses whether Stoke should make a move for him.

With an impressive tally of 14 goals to his name, Bowen is the leading scorer for Hull City and one of the top scorers in the Championship.

He has also added two assists from his wide position.

The 21-year-old, formerly of Hereford United, makes more than one key pass per game as well, meaning he has a creative spark which Stoke could utilise.

Although Bowen has tailed off towards the second half of the season, he has still been Hull's best player, standing out in a below-par side.

If Stoke are relegated - as is looking increasingly likely - they will probably lose a number of players such as Xherdan Shaqiri and Ramadan Sobhi.

These will need to be replaced and Bowen would be a shrewd signing at this level because he has proven his worth at this level and is still a young, raw talent.
