These are pressing times down at Loftus Road for Queens Park Rangers boss Ian Holloway, who has a big campaign ahead of him in London.

The R’s struggled during large parts of the last campaign and, having sacked former boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink halfway through the season, the pieces were picked up by Football League veteran Holloway.

The former Blackpool favourite now holds the key to any future QPR success, and he’s got to start this summer by adding tactically to his squad.

He doesn’t have a huge budget to spend unlike managers before him, and he’s going to have to spend wisely to get the best players at his disposal for the start of the campaign.

And one man we at the FLW think would be a cracking addition to the squad is Arsenal youngster Jon Toral, whose future at the Emirates is looking uncertain.

The Spanish playmaker has spent plenty of time out on loan over the past couple of years but now more than ever, he needs to be playing regular first-team football at a strong level.

And after a spell at Rangers last time out, we’d like to see him return to the Championship with the Hoops, after seeing some fantastic form from him during his time at Birmingham City a couple of years ago.

He’s creative, skilful and can bang in a goal or two as well - something goal-shy QPR would be seriously grateful of having struggled to hit the back of the net at times last season.

Of course, this a move that’s more likely to be a loan switch than anything else, but for the Hoops and chief Holloway, they’d be a getting a seriously useful player who knows this level very well indeed.
