There’s a huge clash in the Sky Bet Championship tomorrow evening, with Leeds United welcoming Norwich City to Elland Road.

Leeds are competing with the Canaries for automatic promotion this season and tomorrow’s result at Elland Road could go a long way to deciding who is in the Premier League next season.

Marcelo Bielsa, as is becoming the norm, has named his starting XI for the clash, with Pontus Jansson and Tyler Roberts coming into the side for Kalvin Phillips and Jack Clarke.

Whilst both those changes make sense, we believe that Bielsa should be approaching this game with Phillips in the midfield:

A back-five of Kiko Casilla, Luke Ayling, Jansson, Liam Cooper and Ezgjan Alioski looks very good, but it is set to be Adam Forshaw protecting them in the defensive midfield spot.

For us, Phillips, 23, should be in there. The Leeds-born ace has been superb there when available and gives Leeds a real solid look.

Forshaw shouldn’t be dropped, though, he should be pushed into the No.10 role alongside Mateusz Klich, with Pablo Hernandez shifting out wide to the left.

That, of course, means that Roberts doesn’t make our side. The 20-year-old deserves his chance after an excellent cameo at Rotherham United last weekend, but we believe a midfield trio of Phillips, Klich and Forshaw would allow Leeds to get a grip of an important game against Norwich.

From there, having the likes of Roberts and Clarke stepping off the bench could give Leeds another edge in the second-half.
