The return of the Championship has not brought the sort of results that QPR will have been hoping it would and it seems as though their play-off hopes are over for another season.

The R's play has been driven by the emergence of some fantastic young players this term, with the likes of Ebere Eze and Bright Osayi-Samuel proving key men.

They're far from the first young players to impress at the west London club, however, and to illustrate that we've compiled a list of the seven youngest players to score for QPR, as per Transfermarkt...

A product of the R's academy, Gallen was a fantastic servant to the west London club making more than three hundred appearances across two separate spells.

The forward grabbed his first goal for the club in a 3-2 win against Sheffield Wednesday in 1994 at the age of 18 years, 11 months, and three days.

Bean made more than 400 appearances in a career spanning nearly two decades, with his most significant impact coming at Brentford and Wycombe Wanderers.

His career began with the R's, however, and he scored his first goal in a 2-0 win over Wrexham in 2003 at the age of 18 years, 10 months, and 14 days.

The 31-year-old can now be found with QPR's Championship rivals Preston North End but he spent time on loan at the west London club as a teenager.

The winger grabbed his first goal for the club against Crystal Palace in 1-1 draw in 2007 at the age of 18 years, seven months and 16 days.

Another product of the R's academy, German has bounced around clubs since leaving in 2011.

The forward is the fourth-youngest player ever to score for the west London club, having found the net at the age of 18 years, one month and 25 days in a 2-1 win against Doncaster Rovers.

At number three on this is another academy graduate, Ray Jones.

He scored his first goal in a 2-0 win against Hull City in 2006 at the age of 18 years and 26 days but sadly passed away the following year.

After coming through the QPR youth system, the attacking midfielder has featured for a number of different clubs in the EFL and National League.

He scored his first professional goal for the R's at the age of 17 years, seven months and 23 days in a 1-1 draw with Sheffield United.

The youngest player to score for QPR is Baidoo, who was 17 years, seven months and six days old when he found the net in a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Plymouth Argyle in 2005.

The centre-forward spent three years with the R's after signing from Norwich City, scoring four goals in 31 appearances.
