Preston North End will be hoping they can put together a positive run of results from now until the end of the season, as they target a top-six finish in the Championship.

Andy Carroll is in at number seven on the list, when he scored for North End against Leicester City in November 2007.

Preston drew the match 1-1 against the Foxes, with Carroll scoring at the age of 18 years and ten months old.

The left winger was on the scoresheet at the age of 18 years and seven months old when he scored against Wimbledon back in August 2001, in a game which Preston drew 1-1.

Chuks Aneke is fifth on the list at the age of 18 years and eight months old, when he scored against Bury in League One back in March 2012.

Monakana is up next on the list at the age of 18 years and nine months old when he found the back of the net against Crystal Palace in an impressive 4-1 win for the Lilywhites.

AFC Bournemouth striker Joshua King stars the top-three as the youngest ever Preston North End goalscorers.

He scored against Stockport County in the League Cup back in August 2010, in a game they ran out comfortable 5-0 winners.

Matty James is second on the list at the age of 18 years and six months old, when he scored against Sheffield United in a 2-1 win back in February 2010.

Josh Brownhill is Preston North End's youngest ever scorer at the age of 17-years-old and ten months.

The goal came against Gillingham whilst the Lilywhites were playing their football in League One, in a game they won 2-1 on the day.
