He was 18 years, four months and five days.

The current Sheffield Wednesday midfielder scored his first Boro goal in the Championship in 2011.

In a 3-0 win over Doncaster, Reach’s goal came when he was 18 years, three months and four days.

Right at the start of Cattermole’s career, he scored for Boro in a 1-0 win over Manchester City in 2006.

The midfielder was 18 years and 11 days when he scored the winner in Manchester.

Way back in 1978, Boro’s youngster ever goalscorer, Proctor, scored in a 7-2 win over Chelsea.

He was just 17 years, 10 months and 16 days when he scored, with that record standing over 40 years now.
