Mark Robins has led his Coventry City side to the brink of something truly special this term, with the Sky Blues currently occupying second place in the League One standings after the best part of three quarters of the season having been played.

The former Manchester United player has employed an attacking style of play that seeks for his side to control possession of the ball within the opposition half for long periods of time in order to create goal scoring chances through the use of through balls.

The likes of Liam Walsh and Jamie Allen have greatly thrived of this passing based style, contributing six assists between them in the league this season.

Ahead of the weekend, we have compiled a list of the SEVEN best passers at Coventry City as per WhoScored....

The 24-year-old full back has been in superb form for Coventry this term, providing a good attacking outlet down the right flank, whilst also maintaining good consistency in defensive situations.

Mason has found his game time largely limited under Robins this term, but has certainly provided a good option at left back for the Sky Blues when called upon, with the 22-year-old showing great confidence in possession.

Westbrooke has been an almost constant threat for the Midlands based club in the final third, with the attacking midfielder already notching four goals in the league, whilst also providing a good creative outlet for the team to build attacks through.

A towering centre back, McFadzean continues to show time and time again why he is considered to be one of the best players in his position in League One, with his ball playing style helping to build the play out from the back quickly.

Walsh has been arguably Coventry's best player this term, with the diminutive attacker having put in some brilliant displays in the number ten position, often laying on a killer assist for his teammates.

In addition to Walsh, Allen has also excelled under Mark Robins this term, with the 25-year-old showing a great ability to control the tempo of games in which Coventry have come under exerted pressure.

Partnering McFadzean for much of the season, Hyam has provided a commanding presence at the heart of the Coventry backline whilst also showing that he is more than adept at playing the ball out from the back on many an occasion this term.
