Hull City will be looking ahead to a season in League One under the management of Grant McCann.

The Tigers had previously been within touching distance of the play-off places, but a disastrous run of form since the turn of the New Year has seen them slide down the second tier standings at an alarming rate.

The days of playing their football in the Premier League will feel like a distant memory to plenty of the club's supporters nowadays.

We take a look at the SIX oldest players to ever play for Hull City during their careers.

Find out who they are, on the next page....

Adebola kicks off the list at number six, when he featured for Hull City at the age of 36.

He couldn't stop the Tigers from falling to a 2-1 defeat away to Southampton though, as he eventually moved on from Hull in 2012 as he moved to Rochdale after a brief spell with the Tigers.

The goalkeeper is fifth on the list for Hull City at the age of 36.

He failed to keep a clean sheet when he last featured for Hull though, as they were beaten by Derby County back in January 2012.

Barmby is another player that the club's supporter will remember well for his services to the Tigers across an eight-year spell.

The midfielder is fourth on the list at the age of 37, having played against Cardiff City in a 2-1 win for the Tigers back in October 2011.

The central midfielder is the third-oldest player to feature for Hull City at the age of 39.

Hessenthaler featured for Hull back in April 2005 in a 2-1 defeat at home to Sheffield Wednesday, which wasn't the way he would have liked to have bowed out with the club.

Windass is a club legend, and is second on the list at the age of 39.

His las match for the club was against Manchester City, but it wasn't the way he would have liked to have come second on the list, as the Tigers were beaten 5-1 on the day against the Premier League side back in 2008 on Boxing Day.

Experienced goalkeeper Steve Harper is top of the list as Hull City's oldest ever player to feature in a match.

Harper played for the Tigers at the age of 40, when he kept a clean sheet against Premier League giants Manchester United in May 2015.
