Training is back on the agenda for Championship clubs this week as they look to try and get back to full fitness with a view to starting the season in June, potentially.

Of course, there will be an air of uncertainty over it all even if matches do start up again but Fulham fans will be hoping that they get the chance to reel in West Brom and Leeds and prove that the pair were not guaranteed promotion as some would have had you believe.

In the meantime, though, we've been looking at some of the oldest players to have ever played for the club - with the help of transfermarkt - let's take a look at the top six...

Georgios Karagounis comes in at sixth place and featured in a season where Fulham were relegated to the Championship - 2013/14.

His last appearance was a 3-1 loss to Spurs where he was 37 years, 1 month and 13 days old.

Pascal Zuberbühler is the first of four goalkeepers in this list - owing to their general better longevity than outfield players.

He was 37 years, 8 months and 15 days old when Burnley beat Fulham 1-0 in September 2008.

Peter Beardsley made his name playing for the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle and Everton during his pomp.

Funnily enough, his last game for Fulham came against the Reds - a 3-1 defeat at Anfield in October 1998.

He was 37 years, 9 months and 9 days old.

Kasey Keller is the second 'keeper on this list.

He was 38 years, 5 months and 12 days old when he kept a clean sheet against Portsmouth as Fulham won 1-0 in May 2008.

Gábor Király was best known for his attire when playing but he also played for a long time too.

He was 38 years, 8 months and 11 days old when he kept a clean sheet as Fulham beat Leeds 1-0 in December 2014.

Mark Schwarzer is a true Premier League veteran and played for several clubs in the top flight during a lengthy career.

In May 2013, he kept a clean sheet in his last game for Fulham as they beat Swansea 3-0.

He was 40 years, 7 months and 13 days old on that day.
